Ears

You had an ear infection and developed a rash after taking amoxicillin, which you HATE. we had to have your medication changed to cefdinir

Now every time, we give you medicine, you say “not the pink one…”

You’re so shy…

This morning you met with another Santa. You ran up to him and held your arms out, quickly engaging him in conversation about how you pooped this morning in brother’s tent and wondering where Santa’s reindeers were at and what like like to eat. You guessed, that they probably like Mac and cheese like you.

Diss

mom-Are you mommy’s girl?

No, i daddy’s girl.

“I want Milka me”

Mom-“You just had Milka me”

“I know. I want more Milka me. Now!”

mom-Hey little miss.

“I not a miss, I Lydia Cox!”

mom-Lydia let’s go to the store.

No. I stay here.

Everett-Lydia is screaming like a banshee.

Lydia-screaming. I not a banshee.

Mom-we’re going to wild eggs for breakfast.

Lydia-ugh. Not again.

The diaper fairy….

We had such wonderful memories of Emily and her cottage community. It was the place we went each year for Christmas photos and were we did our announcement of you, having Everett wear his big brother t-shirt Christmas 2015.

From 1.5 weeks of age until you were 4 months old, we would circle and share daily roses/thorns in the space in a community room with fellow moms and babies. The woman who started the cottage was very special and I’m glad she was in our lives for a short time. Think of what the words glitter, loving, peace, kind, thoughtfulness, patience, glowing, warm, authentic, honest, calm, intelligent, driven, spiritual, optimism, nurturing, friendly, hopeful, and graciousness mean to you. These are all words that describe the amazing woman who helped to create such an amazing network for babies, toddlers and families.
