She was a fun one this morning. She doesn’t like having the sunblock sprayed on her, so she kiiiiiind of runs away when I do it. Today, I actually held her arm while she tugged/screamed to avoid the deadly anti-cancer mist. After I was done, she just sat down in the middle of the parking lot. I called to her several times, but she refused to come…
Finally, I went to the door and Cathy met us there. She called to Lydia – nothing. I called to her – nothing. EVERETT called to her – nothing. Finally, I had to walk over and pick her up. I held her under her arms and she didn’t even move. It was like she was in FULL resistance mode. Awesome.
So, I took her to the breakfast room and started to go down the hall to hang up their bags. SCREAMING. She held my hand all the way down and all the way back. All the while, Everett is running around with pure joy, stopping to pee as is now his custom. We get back to the breakfast room and I sit down, giving them hugs and she wouldn’t let go.
I ended up having to physically disengage from her while she screamed the whole time.
Awesome.
Feel free to get her tonight. 😉
